Catch-light (--unpacking--In My New House)--so bus has added a photo to the pool:
Some days that inspiration just comes from a box, other days in comes from outside a box and days like this it comes from from both. Ive had this photo in my head for the last 3 months and i planned it out a few times but never got around to shooting it until tonight. This photo took me awhile and a lot of testing as trying to fine tune the lighting and get in all those little details like the edge work of blue light on the bottom of the box and also keeping the red light so i had a dark black edge on the right side of the box which gives it that depth was super important to me, as well as the back rim light on (Jeffery) the wooden man holding the box had to be done for that separation on the background and for my piece of mind. I just love those little details and being able to light paint them with mini flashlights just opens a whole other world to controlling light. So after getting those elements down now i just had to use my iPhone with the "text Pro Paint" app and thats what wrote the word "Think" in the air ...Its hard to explain but the words slowly move across the screen on the iPhone and as they move you move the phone and it records the word on the photo in the air.. It sounds confusing as all this explaining of the image but i hope that half made sense. Either way i had fun taking this photo and planning out the image that whol process is really something that when im doing and setting up i really feel like its t he calm of the storm ---its one of my favorite things in the world --just emerging yourself into the photo and telling a story through i 2d piece of paper -----thats what keeps me shooting everyday...---178 down -many more to go
