Shifu Ju

I’m lately pushing on portraits, and I’m truly finding it so fun. It’s probably not that fun for the friends of whom friendship I’m abusing, but what can I do if I have awesome friends? :D
So there we go with the first portrait, introducing you to Mr. Ju. Besides an awesome friend, he is also an Atomic Krew member, so you’ve probably seen some shoots of him around the blog, and much more coming up…but that’s not all!! (he is like superman seriously) he is also an amazing photographer that only shots in film, AND a great mentor (for those not living in China skip this joke: I should call him “Shifu Ju”). Well, I should remark though, that the portrait above hasn’t been shoot recently, only edited recently. For my last birthday, another awesome friend, borrowed me his Canon 5D for some days…well maybe several weeks hihihihihi It was not only the first time I had a Canon in my hands, but the second DSRL that was in my hands…and the flash was going like crazy. So I was shooting only trying to figure out how to make the flash work. Besides leaving Shifu Ju almost blind, I didn´t figure out how the flash worked…until few days ago when I got my first external flash with an instruction manual :p (see post on 5th of April to see the results of my first flash experience).
