The 1st shot in the comments I took around the same time as this portrait. We were occupying the stairs at faculty hollow when I saw a few kids wandering around the upper patio level peeking through the gaps in the guard rail out of curiosity. I stopped for a moment, smiled and they cautiously made their way down the steps, careful to not interrupt us with whatever we might have been doing and then as soon as their feet hit the pavement, they bolted off down the hill near the forested area in the time it took me to blink. Shortly after I saw their father's come down to keep an eye on them and while the sun was setting, it made a lovely atmosphere with the kids laughing and running around while their parents stood and conversed with each other at the top of the hill. It was a perfect summer moment and I decided to snap a quick shot of one of their daughters running back up to them. I quite like it :)

The stairs and light made for an interesting change of scenery here too. The orange sunset was shining just above the residence building in the distance, illuminating jeff's face nicely without the need for fill. I also like the way bricks bokeh :D
