This is a repost of a work recently uploaded (see here: www.flickr.com/photos/walford/7037718325/in/photostream/ ), but with an added framing device.

The personality of this determined, willful, vivacious, yet sensitive boy reminds me of myself as a child. We relate well, sensing some element of mutual understanding. I have never before encountered that in a child, and I hope he can learn from, and so avoid, some my childhood struggles.
