Just outside of Sedro-Woolley, WA, sits an abandoned dairy farm that once served as a rehabilitation program for mental-health patients at the adjacent Northern State Hospital. This work-as-therapy program ran successfully for several decades until a 1973 state budget cut closed the facility.
