This series of double and group portraits began in reaction against bad family portraits that I saw on a local professional photographer's website (who I don't believe is represented on Flickr). His family portraits were lifeless. Everyone smiled the canned smile that they do when they know that at any moment a bright flash is going to blind them. The figures interacted in no way with one another. They could have been cut outs from other photos.
So, I decided to create a series of double-portraits that have some life in them. This is the first.
This looks like an illustration to a fairy tale. One sister jealous of another. You supply the details.
