Trying out some creative portrait techniques with my iphone and some cheap house lamps. There is something so liberating using a camera (well phone) with such a crappy camera/sensor with virtually no controls and basically just one button. I am used to top end DSLR’s and great lenses but simplicity and restrictions really does pull out your creative mind set. I urge any photographer (amateur or pro) to give it a try, I believe it really will make you a better photographer and stimulate that creative part of the brain.
The only problem here is that the only person around to photograph was me, so I apologise for having to look at my ugly mug. A rare self portrait I suppose.
